Some unique watches from Van der Gang’s development phase

Attention to every detail. This conviction forms the basis and is essential for every new design. This process begins with an idea. An image created by inspiration, which is still only in Wybe van der Gang’s head and slowly takes shape. From this idea, a concept emerges, which forms the basis for a new ‘Van der Gang’ collection piece. A new addition to the Van der Gang family. During this phase, an endless number of variations are worked out for every detail on the dial, and a few are selected from each. In this way, every detail receives attention. It is a meticulous process in which minimal differences make all the difference, and the end result is the sum of attention to every detail. A selection from these variations is produced in physical dials and ultimately translated into a few watches. From these watches, we ultimately choose one that will become the new addition to the Van der Gang collection. The prototype models that did not make it into the final selection do not disappear, but are carefully stored by us. With the insight we have now, each and every one of them is a special piece.

What makes these watches so unique?
We are not including some of these unique watches from Van der Gang’s development phase in our collection, but we want to release them in a limited edition of just a few pieces and make them available to our customers. A one-off and unique opportunity for a very special Van der Gang.
